Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in South Hill, VA

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) for the state
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt to diverse learning needs

What You’ll Do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and participate in meetings as required
• Deliver engaging therapy that empowers students to build confidence and communication skills
