Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP state licensure (Illinois or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings, especially early childhood
  • Healthcare SLP experience a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • SLPAs not considered for this assignment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to early childhood students
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Assess, screen, and document progress on language, articulation, and fluency disorders
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, bringing specialized insights
