Advance your career as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students’ communication and academic success. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with positions beginning August 12, 2026, and extending through June 7, 2027. Work within a collaborative school environment near South Mills, NC, focusing on direct and indirect speech/language services for a pediatric population.

You’ll benefit from guaranteed weekly hours and will not be expected to take on additional district duties beyond your contracted schedule. This school-based position welcomes both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY), with stipend opportunities available for travel therapists.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligible)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow applicants encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech/language therapy to students in compliance with their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to progress reports and IEP meetings
  • Support students’ ability to access curriculum and improve communication skills
