Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (state certification required prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with children in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Comfort managing a diverse K-12 caseload
- Excellent documentation and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in K–12th grade
- Craft and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and educational specialists
- Participate in eligibility, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding goals and strategies
- Provide consultation and support to school staff to foster inclusive learning environments
