This contract position is conveniently located near the vibrant South Portland, ME area. What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred, but open to new graduates
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with in-school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Complete all required documentation, progress reports, and case management tasks in a timely manner
- Serve as a resource to school staff regarding communication disorders and supports
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide relevant input
