Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license (or ability to obtain) in Maine
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also considered
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment for students
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver therapy sessions—individually or in small groups—to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and progress monitoring
