Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license (or ability to obtain) in Maine
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also considered
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment for students

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver therapy sessions—individually or in small groups—to foster student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with families and staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and progress monitoring
