Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for Vermont (or willingness to obtain prior to assignment)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and a student-centered approach

Responsibilities:

  • Provide screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to maximize student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, session notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Deliver both group and one-on-one interventions
