School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Southaven, Mississippi

Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ communication development as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 academic year. Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially within a school system, is a strong plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student IEP goals
• Maintain documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input to multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive, culturally responsive learning environment, advocating for effective communication in the classroom
