What You'll Need:
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship candidates considered
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all school and regulatory requirements
- Provide direct therapy services in group and individual settings, adapting methods to meet diverse needs
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering insights and strategies to foster effective communication
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
