School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Southfield, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP license/certification in Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams within a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services
• Track student progress, adjust therapeutic strategies, and maintain accurate records
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student growth
• Contribute to team meetings and special education initiatives as needed
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development by addressing speech and language barriers
