Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school-based settings or with elementary-aged students is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) according to student needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services within the school environment
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and communications with staff and families
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
