Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Southport, North Carolina

This position provides 37.5 hours per week supporting a caseload of around 45-50 students in a vibrant educational community near Southport and Wilmington, NC. Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Possession of or eligibility for North Carolina licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly valued; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
• Experience supporting pediatric populations in healthcare or school environments
• Background in teletherapy is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to school-aged children
• Support and implement IEPs, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with other professionals including teachers, administrators, and special education staff
• Keep thorough records of student progress and regularly communicate updates to families and colleagues
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team discussions
