Speech Language Pathologist in Spanaway, WA

We have multiple contract opportunities available for skilled SLPs to provide on-site services in local school settings, with 10-12 openings ready to be filled as districts transition from virtual to in-person support. Your presence will help students reach their full communicative potential and advance their educational journey.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Minimum of one year experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
• Dedication to working on-site (remote or virtual services not being considered)
• SLPAs or assistants are not eligible for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify communication and swallowing disorders in students
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans and IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic success
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services on-site
• Maintain accurate documentation and detailed records for compliance
• Engage in ongoing communication with staff and parents to track progress
• Attend and participate in school meetings related to student support
