A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve the needs of school-aged children. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services within educational settings, supporting students in achieving their communication goals.
Location: Sparks, NV
Work Environment: School settings with some travel required
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing students' speech and language skills to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting therapies as needed
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational environments
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate records
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel between school sites as required
