Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Licensure to practice as an SLP in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP development for communication disorders
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, and voice
• Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify students in need of intervention
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and parents to set and reach goals
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Partner with educators, special education teams, and administrators to promote an inclusive, supportive school environment
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress review
• Manage a diverse caseload, delivering effective, timely therapy in accordance with state and district guidelines
