This contract position is onsite, working directly with children impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Rett Syndrome, and various developmental and medical diagnoses. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference every day using individualized, multimodal communication methods, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.

This environment is ideal for professionals enthusiastic about expanding their clinical expertise in AAC and working closely with a team comprising other SLPs, as well as occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers of the visually impaired, and board-certified behavior analysts. Enjoy a setting where SLPs are not case managers, have no school duties beyond the therapeutic role, and experience minimal travel obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and Educator certification required
  • SLP-CCC preferred
  • Passion for serving students with significant communication challenges
  • Experience or interest in AAC preferred (training available)
  • Collaborative mindset and positive team player
