Step into an exciting opportunity to support students and make a difference this school year in the Spartanburg, SC region! We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide maternity leave coverage in a contract role from October 1st through December 15th, 2026. In this position, you’ll primarily assist students with mild speech and language needs, with occasional support for high schoolers in self-contained settings. The assignment spans two nearby school locations, conveniently less than three miles apart.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CFY candidates considered)
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP preferred
  • Confidence managing a varied caseload, from mild support to self-contained high school students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, families, and fellow staff
  • Ability to adapt quickly and deliver high-quality services during a limited-term assignment

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering therapeutic speech and language services to students in elementary and high school settings
  • Conducting screenings, assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Supporting inclusive learning, including collaboration with other educators and service providers
  • Collecting data and documenting progress to monitor student growth and ensure compliance
  • Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences as necessary

This contract position offers competitive hourly pay between $40 and $50, along with the chance to experience two welcoming school environments without the burden of extensive travel between sites.
