Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license and relevant certification
- Previous experience in school-based SLP settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to adapt services to meet a variety of student needs
- Confident in using various assessment and therapy tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in both group and individual settings
- Document student progress and maintain required records
- Engage with teachers and families to facilitate carryover of strategies and supports
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving
