School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Spencerport, New York

Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available on a contract basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until internal hires are made. Role A focuses on working with elementary-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, located at an elementary campus. Role B involves supporting high school students with intellectual disabilities at a junior/senior high setting. Both roles embrace the mission of nurturing communication abilities and maximizing each student’s potential in a caring, inclusive environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Experience with ASD or intellectual disabilities strongly desired
• Ability to adapt speech/language interventions to individual student needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for facilitating student growth and development

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services individually and in group settings
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
