Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Spicewood, TX

Step into a vital role supporting student success in a school setting by providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across a K-12 caseload of approximately 50 students. The district is eager for a dedicated SLP to join for the new school year, delivering assessment, intervention, and support for students’ communication needs.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
• Experience with pediatric populations and school-based service delivery
• Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and traditional in-person therapy
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborative team models
• Able to supervise SLPAs (if providing SLP-A supervision)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of K-12 students requiring speech and language services
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and design interventions tailored to individualized needs
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report on student advancement
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and consultative support as needed across the district
