This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across a K-12 caseload of approximately 50 students. The district is eager for a dedicated SLP to join for the new school year, delivering assessment, intervention, and support for students’ communication needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based service delivery
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and traditional in-person therapy
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborative team models
- Able to supervise SLPAs (if providing SLP-A supervision)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of K-12 students requiring speech and language services
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and design interventions tailored to individualized needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report on student advancement
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and consultative support as needed across the district
