Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY applicants considered
- Prior experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans and goals
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Write and maintain thorough evaluation and therapy documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer guidance to families and educators on communication strategies
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to student needs
- Support and consult with teachers to address classroom challenges related to communication
