School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Spotsylvania, Virginia

With a 37.5-hour workweek and a collaborative team atmosphere, you’ll have the chance to support a diverse caseload while honing your expertise in a school-based setting.

Qualified candidates will bring one or more of the following:

• Active and valid SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply
• School-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with students across K-12; caseload preferences can be considered
• Dedication to supporting students’ developmental and educational needs

Primary responsibilities include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other support professionals to develop and implement IEP goals
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Providing both individual and group therapy tailored to students’ needs
• Contributing to a positive, team-oriented educational environment
