OT School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team supporting students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children build functional skills and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students with developmental and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and therapy objectives
  • Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and classroom participation skills
  • Provide classroom-based and pull-out therapy services as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active state OT license and/or Department of Education certification (if required)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
