Speech Language Pathologist in Spring Lake, MI

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC required)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing direct therapy, conducting assessments, and developing IEPs
• Effective communicator who collaborates well with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to manage caseloads with flexibility and professionalism
• Familiarity with serving diverse student populations, including those from non-public educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Deliver direct therapy services, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with educators and families to support each child’s communication development
• Maintain detailed progress notes and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
• Travel between the main elementary school and assigned non-public school locations as required
