Step into a rewarding opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist and support students through the 2026–2027 school year in Muskegon, MI. This full-time contract role focuses on services within an elementary school setting, including additional support for non-public schools in the area. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing students’ communication skills and educational experiences.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Michigan State licensure for SLPs or eligibility for licensure
  • Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, staff, and families
  • In-depth understanding of common communication disorders found in school-age children
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student care

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct therapy for elementary students
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress reports and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student success
  • Deliver speech and language interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Serve as a resource for school staff regarding communication disorders and SLP best practices
  • Support non-public schools serviced by the district, ensuring consistent and equitable access to therapy
