Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Michigan
  • ASHA certification strongly preferred
  • Experience working with elementary-age students
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support teams
  • Skilled in delivering services across diverse student populations, including those in non-public school settings supported by the district

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both public and non-public schools within the district’s support framework
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation according to school and district guidelines
  • Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and parent consultations
  • Provide consultation and resources to teachers and staff, supporting student communication needs in the classroom
