Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, clinical fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering both individual and group therapy
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders among school-aged students
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize treatment outcomes
- Document progress according to district policies and maintain thorough records
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student support
- Educate school staff and families on communication strategies and intervention best practices
