A healthcare facility in Spring, TX is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide comprehensive speech and language services. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, primarily on-site, serving pediatric and school-based populations with a variety of communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with AAC devices and knowledge of IEP processes
- Previous school setting experience is a strong plus
- Skills in teletherapy, pediatrics, conventional healthcare, and school-based roles, including CFY and SLPA collaboration
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals
- Collaborating closely with caregivers, families, and multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathology assistants
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and patient records
