Key Qualifications:

  • Holds a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Strong understanding of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment strategies for pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to contract start)
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy sessions for students with a range of communication needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and advocating for students' needs
  • Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment for all students
