Step into a pivotal role as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise will directly support primary and elementary students throughout the academic year. This contract opportunity runs from early August 2026 through early June 2027, offering a dynamic 40-hour work week in a collaborative educational environment. As an onsite professional, you’ll mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), drive critical evaluations, and play an integral part in the ARD process—without a therapy caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Competence supervising and supporting SLPAs
  • Proven ability to perform comprehensive speech-language assessments
  • Skilled in leading ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise SLPAs and ensure compliance with clinical and educational standards
  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations for students at both primary and elementary campuses
  • Prepare and facilitate ARD meetings to help tailor educational plans
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation related to evaluations and meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to advocate for student needs

This assignment focuses exclusively on evaluations and administrative functions—no direct student therapy is required. You’ll work onsite at selected campuses with the chance to mentor emerging professionals and enhance student outcomes across multiple school sites.
