Key qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) license in Texas
• Strong background in educational or pediatric settings
• Previous experience with supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is highly desired
• Demonstrated skill in comprehensive speech-language evaluations
• Familiarity with the ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) process
• Reliable ability to work on-site exclusively, providing consistency for staff and students

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee and mentor SLPAs, promoting professional growth and ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Conduct formal speech-language evaluations to inform and shape student support plans
• Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings as the speech-language specialist
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of campus environments
• Serve as a subject matter expert for school staff and families regarding speech-language development
• Maintain timely and accurate evaluation records in compliance with district and state standards
• Support multiple campuses with a focus on assessment, consultation, and support—no direct therapy included
