In this full-time position (40 hours per week), you’ll serve students by conducting evaluations and steering critical meetings that impact young learners’ success. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Familiarity with the requirements and procedures of ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campuses and caseloads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite supervision to SLPAs, ensuring best practices and compliance with professional standards
- Complete thorough speech-language evaluations for students on assigned campuses
- Facilitate ARD meetings and collaborate with educational teams on student support plans
- Document progress, maintain records, and deliver clear reports
- Serve as a resource to teachers and staff, contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment
- Travel between a defined group of primary and elementary school sites as assigned
