Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs are welcome
- Background in school-based SLP work is a plus, though not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to assigned students
- Conduct evaluations and determine individual student needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to parents and staff
- Provide consultation to teachers and participate in meetings as needed
- Travel to multiple school sites if assigned an itinerant caseload
