With a dedicated SLP retiring, there is a tremendous need for professionals who are passionate about student growth and communication skills.
Your placement—whether with elementary, middle, or high school students—will be determined based on openings and your preferences. Each assignment supports manageable caseloads, typically between 50-60 students, allowing you to provide meaningful intervention and make strong connections.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure for the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience or sincere interest in working with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to assigned students in-person
- Complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and student records
- Engage in school-wide activities and contribute to a positive school environment
