With a seasoned Speech Language Pathologist retiring, there is a need for six dedicated SLPs for the 2026-2027 school year. Caseloads are carefully managed, ranging between 50 to 60 students, ensuring you have the time and resources to provide individualized, in-person services that truly matter. Your placement—elementary, middle, or high school—will be thoughtfully determined based on your strengths and interests.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Valid SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and effective therapy plans
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners
- In-person service delivery experience highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for assigned students
- Assess, identify, and tailor interventions for a spectrum of communication needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and families to ensure holistic student support
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and support IEP development
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
