Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Texas
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
  • Experience in school settings is highly valued, though not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective collaborator with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress and collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with legal and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver services across a range of grade levels; caseloads may be adjusted to match candidate preferences (elementary, middle, or high school focus available)
