Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, speech/language assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Comfort with collaborating across multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students' needs
  • Write thorough, actionable IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address communication challenges
  • Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and report on outcomes
  • Offer consultation, training, and support to teachers and families
  • Help foster an inclusive, positive environment for all students
  • Stay current with best practices and regulatory guidelines
