Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an SLP in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Prior experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K–12) is highly desirable
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Organizational aptitude to manage caseloads, documentation, and deadlines effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment strategies
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to maximize student progress
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training and support to school teams regarding speech-language interventions and communication strategies
