Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Arkansas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal special education regulations
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support classroom integration
  • Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Stay current with best practices, therapy techniques, and professional development
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with training staff on language and communication strategies where needed
