A specialized contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students at a program designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This role focuses on delivering personalized, supportive education aimed at fostering independence in a non-traditional setting.

Location and Schedule:

  • Assignment based in Ludlow, MA
  • Contract duration: July 6, 2026 – August 7, 2026, with potential consideration for the 2026/2027 school year based on performance
  • Part-time position, 15-20 hours per week, scheduled across 2-3 days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide AAC-related services to high school students, primarily those enrolled in the Compass High Program
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized communication plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other learning differences through specialized speech-language interventions
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with state regulations and program standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with School Certification (CCC preferred)
  • Experience working with AAC devices and systems; administering AAC evaluations is not necessarily required
  • Prior experience supporting students on the autism spectrum or with similar learning differences in a school setting
  • Compliance with all state credentialing requirements for educational speech-language pathology
