A specialized contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students at a program designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This role focuses on delivering personalized, supportive education aimed at fostering independence in a non-traditional setting.
Location and Schedule:
- Assignment based in Ludlow, MA
- Contract duration: July 6, 2026 – August 7, 2026, with potential consideration for the 2026/2027 school year based on performance
- Part-time position, 15-20 hours per week, scheduled across 2-3 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide AAC-related services to high school students, primarily those enrolled in the Compass High Program
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized communication plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other learning differences through specialized speech-language interventions
- Maintain documentation in accordance with state regulations and program standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with School Certification (CCC preferred)
- Experience working with AAC devices and systems; administering AAC evaluations is not necessarily required
- Prior experience supporting students on the autism spectrum or with similar learning differences in a school setting
- Compliance with all state credentialing requirements for educational speech-language pathology
