This full-time, contract-based role supports students’ communication development in a dynamic and collaborative school environment, near Springfield, MA. Your expertise will contribute to student success, working alongside educators and families to create inclusive learning experiences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts SLP-CCC license; please be prepared to provide a screenshot as proof of current licensure
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, preferably as a bilingual provider
  • Strong understanding of best practices for speech-language assessments and interventions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient documentation, evaluation, and progress monitoring skills
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
  • Must successfully pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI check

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, adjusting approaches to meet diverse bilingual needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state/regulatory standards
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress, goals, and communications
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to team discussions, and advise staff on communication supports
  • Serve as a resource on language development for families and educational staff
  • Appropriately communicate any absences, prioritizing both client and agency protocols
