This full-time contract opportunity is located near Springfield, MA and offers you the chance to provide essential communication support to a diverse student population. You will play a key role in helping students achieve academic and social success, collaborating closely with educators and families in a dynamic school setting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Massachusetts SLP license (please provide a screenshot as proof)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Bilingual proficiency to deliver services in English and another language
- Previous experience working in K-12 schools preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Must pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI checks
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site
- Timely and professional with strong attendance reliability
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students identified with communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, therapy notes, and follow school-based documentation procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluation and treatment planning
- Adapt services and materials to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of students
