School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Springfield, Massachusetts

This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through late June 2027, with the assignment based in Ludlow, MA. Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current, active state license and meet all state requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings with high school students.
• Skilled in utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to support diverse learner needs.
• Prior experience or comfort with supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) strongly preferred.
• Adaptable and engaging communication style to connect with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or other learning differences.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to high school students in a supportive, collaborative setting.
• Supervise an SLPA and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize student growth and independence.
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Utilize AAC devices to facilitate communication and engagement for students.
• Participate in regular team meetings, family conferences, and ongoing professional development sessions.
