School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Springfield, Massachusetts

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings is valued
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students across grade levels
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
