Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Ohio
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience working in educational settings, especially with elementary, middle, or autistic student populations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of IEP process and experience developing & implementing therapy goals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and maintain accurate documentation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to each student's needs
