School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Springfield, Ohio

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Ohio as an SLP
• CCC-SLP or be working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience in a school setting is valued, but recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome to apply
• Passion for fostering student growth, effective communication, and working as part of a diverse educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluate speech, language, and communication challenges, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, or social communication disorders
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s needs
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure the best outcomes
• Engage in IEP meetings, parent communications, and ongoing professional development
