As an on-site team member, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, helping students unlock their communication potential and succeed academically.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Prepared to work onsite (no virtual or hybrid options available)
  • Comfortable serving elementary, middle, or high school populations
  • Able to complete all credentialing in a timely manner, including VA Dept. of Social Services check and TB Test

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week from August through May (185-day contract)
  • Assignments available across grade levels; specific school caseload to be determined based on preference and need
  • Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintains timely documentation and progress tracking according to school and district requirements
  • Offers direct therapy, consultation, and support for students and staff throughout the school year
