Calling all Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in education! An exciting hybrid contract opportunity is available for dynamic SLPs eager to support students in a well-established district just south of Washington, DC. This full-time position offers a balanced 3/2 split schedule: three days providing direct in-person services and two days working remotely for meetings, assessments, and teletherapy. You’ll have a chance to collaborate onsite while also enjoying the flexibility and work-life harmony of remote days.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • Experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
  • Understanding of hybrid service delivery models
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Willingness to undergo a VA Department of Social Services background check and TB test as credentialing prerequisites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite and virtually to students across multiple campuses (assignments may vary)
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Support academic and social growth through evidence-based interventions
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain clear documentation and participate fully in compliance requirements
  • Attend meetings and contribute to the overall success of school-based therapy programs
