School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Stafford, Virginia

Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near Stafford, VA. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours each week and focuses on providing quality speech and language services to students across two schools, covering for two upcoming maternity leaves. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply and mentorship is available.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA CCC
• Open to SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs) pursuing their CCC
• Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to caseload needs and collaborate with educational teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy services for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with IEPs and state requirements
• Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
• Contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Cover two maternity leave assignments, supporting continuity of services
