Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students at a single school campus
• Conducting evaluations and assessments per district and state guidelines
• Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress
• Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
• Maintaining accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with district protocols

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Virginia
• Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
• Understanding of the needs of elementary learners and best practices in speech-language therapy
• Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload within a .5 FTE (part-time) framework
• Compliance with time-sensitive requirements, including completion of a TB test and district-specific background check on-site with HR
