Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Virginia SLP licensure (must be obtained prior to assignment)
  • Schools-based SLP experience preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds
  • VA Department of Social Services background check (immediate start required)
  • Valid TB test (Virginia requirement)
  • Flexibility to work at different campuses (TBD)
  • Experience across age groups (elementary, middle, high school) a plus

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based speech/language intervention to varied caseloads
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Maintain comprehensive records and progress reports
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and ongoing student support
