School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Stamford, Connecticut

You’ll work alongside fellow educators to assess and treat students with communication needs, sharing your expertise while helping children build success both inside and outside the classroom. What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Valid state licensure for SLP in Connecticut
• Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting
• Ability to travel between two elementary schools within the same district
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Dedication to fostering each child’s individual strengths and progress

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech-language therapy services per IEP specifications
• Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments for qualifying students
• Developing and updating individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
• Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff
• Participating in IEP meetings and engaging with multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptively splitting caseload and travel between two schools
