You’ll work alongside fellow educators to assess and treat students with communication needs, sharing your expertise while helping children build success both inside and outside the classroom. With a flexible contract arrangement, this supportive setting allows you to bring enthusiasm and innovation to your therapy sessions each day.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid state licensure for SLP in Connecticut
  • Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting
  • Ability to travel between two elementary schools within the same district
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to fostering each child’s individual strengths and progress

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech-language therapy services per IEP specifications
  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments for qualifying students
  • Developing and updating individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
  • Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff
  • Participating in IEP meetings and engaging with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptively splitting caseload and travel between two schools
