Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Eligible for (or holds) state licensure to practice as an SLP in Connecticut
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings appreciated
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly within dynamic educational teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide both direct and consultative services as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Offer insights and strategies to staff for integrating speech/language goals into everyday activities
