Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience working within a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
- Committed to ongoing professional growth and student advocacy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as referred
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as a subject matter expert
- Provide guidance and training to staff on communication strategies and support
