A K-12 school in Stamford, CT is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing direct speech therapy services to students across all grade levels to support their communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students based on assessment and eligibility plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
