Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
  • SLP-CCC certification or SLP-CFY candidacy
  • Previous experience within school settings preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists

  • Conducting assessments and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Delivering direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students
  • Documenting progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Consulting with teachers, support staff, and caregivers to maximize student outcomes
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
  • Providing resources and support for inclusive classroom environments
